Do you wonder where on earth do you start with a Watercolour Landscape painting?
If you feel a little overwhelmed at the thought of tackling a landscape, let me simplify it
all for you…
WHAT YOU’LL LEARN:
How to create a sense of distance
What to focus on (and what to leave out,) to create an atmospheric watercolour landscape
Which colours can push the distance away and bring the foreground forward
How to paint a smooth wash for a clear blue sky
How to paint a cloudy sky with wet in wet technique
how to create distant hills
how to confidently use Wet-in-Wet, and Transparent Glazes techniques: the two most important techniques to paint a good landscape
You’ll paint two small landscapes on this workshop, and with all the demonstrations, explanations, and your questions answered you’ll leave this workshop feeling so much more confident to experiment with watercolour landscapes at home.
